Day 28: Architecture

When I think of architecture, I think of Fallingwater or flying buttresses. While I'd love to photograph those things, I once again found myself without access to such spectacular subject matter. Instead, I stuck close to home. Really close to home. My home.

Not quite as grand as Fallingwater, but we like it. I'd never noticed it at this angle in this light until now.  Now I like it even better.

Tomorrow's challenge is night photography. Digital Photography School has some tips at Night Photography Tips, and you can see some amazing night photography at Smashing Magazine's 60 Beautiful Examples of Night Photography.

I may have to take a day off, because I have a sitter scheduled during nighttime hours tomorrow and plan to be out on the town (or at least the movies) with my husband. Maybe he'll enjoy a little detour for some night photography? Probably not, but that's part of the 30-Day Challenge, I suppose.

This is your last chance to suggest a challenge for Day 30. I'm waiting....

Only two more days left in my 30-Day Photography Challenge, then it's back to wherever my mind wanders. Looking forward to less photography and more musings, or have you enjoyed my month-long challenge? If you're looking for amusing or interesting tidbits and articles, check out the Flotsam of the Mind Facebook page for more.
