"Where are you from?" was the first question everyone asked each other the first week of college. In my parents' retirement-friendly golf community, the question is the same. Anytime most people at a gathering are not From Here, it's the first thing we want to know.
It's what I want to know about you. I'm not asking where you live or where you were raised--I want to know how you got here, to Flotsam of the Mind. Most of my readers are friends who know me personally and learned about the blog from me. If you are not one of those people, do you remember what Internet wormhole you passed through to get here? Was it a friend's recommendation on Facebook? A blog link-up? Did I comment on your blog?
If you remember, please leave me a comment about where (in the Internet) you're from. While blog analytics can tell me some of these things, I am a people person, not a data person. I'd rather hear it from you.
Please leave a comment on the blog or on the Flotsam of the Mind Facebook page. If you haven't Liked the Facebook page, just click the Like box in the upper right-hand corner of the blog page to have Flotsam of the Mind updates in your News Feed.
If you enjoy what I have to say here and think a friend might like it too, please share. The more the merrier! Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.
